Revamp Moskov has finally been released with its amazing Revamp skills, passive and deadly ultimate. Moontoon has been working on Moskov for a long time and they have finally decided to launch it into the land of dawn. This guide will poke around into the key improvements, skills, and strategies to maximize Moskov’s potential on the battlefield.
What’s New with Revamped Moskov?
Moskov’s passive, first skill, and second skill have undergone significant enhancements in both function and visual impact. Moskov’s passive now has a wider and longer range, boosting his AoE damage. moskov’s first and second skills have been visually upgraded with new animations and effects, providing a more immersive and satisfying gameplay experience
Skill Changes
One of the noticeable changes in the Revamp Moskov is his ultimate, Spear of Destruction. The new ultimate allows him to blink to the hero hit by the spear, enabling easier pursuit and kills from any distance. The ultimate also features a picture-in-picture camera, providing players with a clearer view of the spear’s trajectory and impact.
Passive – Spear of Quiescence: Moskov’s basic attack now has a wider and longer range. His basic attack pierces through the primary target dealing damage to the enemy behind them or close to them. Each complete basic attack reduces the cooldown of his first and second skills, giving Moskov the upper hand for his aggressive playstyle. Moskov’s basic attacks now deal more damage to secondary targets, making him a threat to backline enemies.

First Skill – Abyss Walker: A versatile skill, Abyss Walker allows Moskov to blink in a certain direction, gaining attack speed for 3 seconds. It enhances his basic attacks, dealing extra damage to enemies behind the primary target. It can also be used to dodge enemy attacks and reposition yourself in battle. It stacks with the attack speed buff from Moskov’s ultimate, allowing him to deal devastating damage in team fights.

Second Skill – Spear of Misery: Moskov’s second skill involves throwing a spear at the target enemy hero or creep, knocking them back and revealing their location. If the target collides with another enemy hero or creep, both will suffer additional damage and be stunned. Similarly, when you use it against enemies close to walls, it will stun them. Moskov’s second skill can damage and stun multiple enemies nearby, making it an effective crowd-control tool in team fights. Players can also use it to interrupt enemy abilities and set up kills for their teammates. Properly utilizing this skill can lead to devastating crowd control effects.

Ultimate – Spear of Destruction: Spear of Destruction sees significant changes, turning Moskov into a more dynamic and deadly force on the battlefield. The spear now pierces through enemies, slowing them, and summons a shadow behind the first enemy hero hit. Activating the skill again allows Moskov to blink out from the shadow in the target direction, gaining the attack speed effect from the current level of his first skill. In short, Spear of Destruction can be used to initiate team fights from a safe distance or to chase down fleeing enemies. Landing the ultimate on an enemy hero refreshes the cooldown of his first skill, creating a seamless combo for strategic plays.

Recommended Emblem and Build
For Moskov, the Marksman Emblem is highly recommended, with talents like Swift, Weapons Master, and Weakness Finder. These talents synergize well with Moskov’s attack speed-based kit, providing him with lightning-fast attacks that also crowd-control his targets.

Core Equipment: Corrosion Scythe stands out as Moskov’s core equipment, offering crucial attack speed synergy. Building Demon Hunter Sword in the early game and Golden Staff in the late game further enhances Moskov’s attack effects. You can choose other builds according to your liking.

Ideal Battle Spell:
Inspire is the ideal battle spell for Moskov, amplifying his basic attack damage and piercing area of effect damage.

In-Game Combos
While playing in a gold lane, you can use Moskov’s first skill to blink smartly which allows you to use 2nd skill to be able to stun them or throw them near your turret so that they will also get turret damage followed by your basic attack for reduced skill cooldowns. Moskov Ultimate can have multiple uses such as: hitting enemies to slow them, followed by a blink to secure kills with his second skill and basic attacks, hitting enemies to switch lanes instantly, using it to kill low hp enemies, and sometimes predicting AFK enemy on the enemy base and use them to destroy their base.
While using in a team fight, you can use his first skill to blink into the enemy backline, use 2nd skill to stun multiple enemies, and then use ultimate to blink out and safety. Similarly, Moskov’s ultimate can be used to initiate team fights by blinking into the enemy backline and stunning multiple enemies. Moskov’s first and second skills are helpful to escape from ganks or to chase down fleeing enemies.
Counters and Alliances:
Moskov is the best choice if you are paired with heroes like Atlas and Gatotkaca, who can crowd-control groups of enemies, allowing Moskov to focus on maximizing his piercing area of effect damage.
Moskov is vulnerable to high-mobility heroes like Lancelot and Natalia, who can quickly close the gap and eliminate him. Similarly, he is also vulnerable to burst damage and crowd control. You can also counter Moskov by avoiding getting close to him and using crowd control to disable him.
Early Game Strategy
Given Moskov’s average early-game damage, prioritize farming while opportunistically using his piercing area of effect or launching his ultimate across the map to assist teammates.
Conclusion
The revamped Moskov came with good potential as a marksman to carry the late game. Players can use Moskov’s enhanced skills, best build, and mindful combos to dominate the whole battlefield. Join Moskov on his quest for revenge and help him to win the battles in the Land of Dawn.
